Kleinberg collected four sites for people who are ready to dive in:
If you’ve only dipped your toe in the social networking pool, here are four more sites to consider when you’re ready to dive in:
Posterous.com
To populate your Posterous page, send everything via e-mail and Posterous posts it for you. It’s as if your blog hired a butler. E-mail a thought and it gets posted. If you attach multiple photos, it creates a photo gallery. Music goes right to an MP3 player that functions within the browser.
Dopplr.com
If you like to travel or learn about new places, you should check out Dopplr. Share your travel plans with your network and members can track your whereabouts. Plus, you can ask questions of fellow travelers and exchange tips on anything from hotels to restaurants. Dopplr can be accessed from Twitter, Facebook, text, e-mail and more.
Picfog.com
Are you a shutterbug? Maybe you just enjoy photography and seeing the world through someone else’s eyes? Picfog shows you photos in real time as they’re uploaded. You see recently trending topics, but you can search for anything.
Blippr.com
Created by Mashable, Blippr lets you talk about apps, books, games, movies and music. See what other people are saying, or write your own review. Then, keep lists of what you like. You can sign in through the Web site or via other accounts including Twitter, Facebook and Google. And, you can connect your Blippr profile with Friendfeed, Plurk and other services.
